Step 9 - Rectangular Circuit And Land.

Fixed Wing Silver

This should be a final relaxing end to the schedule - just don't forget to call "Landing"!

If there are other models in the air, make sure that the others are OK for you to land. Just because you're under examination doesn't mean that you have priority over anyone else. If someone is "deadstick" or already in the landing circuit, circle until it is safe for you to land.

As you execute the landing circuit, make four equally banked turns in each corner and ensure that you go wings level on each leg. Flare the model out for touchdown.

Once the model has come to rest, cut the engine then collect - or if you're fortunate enough to have a "gopher", get him to collect - your model. You must however ensure that it is safe to do so.

All you've got to do now is answer a few simple questions on the Safety Code. What a plonker you'ld be to fail at this stage!

READ AND UNDERSTAND THE SAFETY CODE!
