This section has been added to our website with the aim of bringing to your attention a number of safety-related incidents and items.
The first item Beware is an account of a couple of accidents which occurred at our flying field this year. We have included a few thoughts on the causes and any preventative measures that can be taken to stop any reoccurrence.
The British Model Flying Association has asked all Clubs to make widely known two documents which they have produced. The first, the B.M.F.A. Safety Bulletin is a report on the Inquest into the death of Adam Kirby while the second - and related - is a report from the B.M.F.A. Technical Council about PCM/Failsafes .
The British Model Flying Association has followed up their bulletins with some recommendations on Transmitter Frequency Control Systems which we have also included.
