If you've carried out all these checks then your model should be in pretty sound condition!
We're pretty certain that no matter how often you check the aircraft over, there will still be something you missed, especially if you've never carried out a model inspection before. This is why it always makes sense to get someone else to check over your model.
The problem here is that when you build a model, you become so focussed on how you're buiding it that you can miss a small detail which results it's write-off. We don't think the modeller exists who hasn't overlooked something that a second inspection by another person would pick up on.
As we've said, a good inspection and check out of a new model will take about an hour so it's worth doing this check at least the night before you intend flying the model. With even an almost ready to fly kit, you'll have spent upwards of twenty hours building it - think of the waste of time this would be for the sake of a thorough check out.
If you've been operating your radio gear, do remember to put both the transmitter and receiver back on charge!
One final point - don't go rushing around at 3.00am. to finish a model for test flying that day. You'll be repairing the next night!
