Safety Rules Club Visit Frequency Control Instructors Model Check Learing to Fly
If this is to be your first visit to the field with your new model, you should have carried out a number of checks yourself the night before. These checks should always be carried out before going to the flying field.
- Is your model airworthy?
- Transmitter and receiver batteries fully charged?
- Power panel battery charged (if you have one)?
- Fuel available?
- Tools packed?
- Spare glow plugs and propellors available?
As a courtesy, a quick telephone call to your instructor or a member of the committee is recommended to ensure that someone is at the field to assist you.
You will find that if you require a piece of equipment at the field that you don't currently own, you will be able to borrow it from one of our members.
