Raptor 5029 viewsHi Folks
I joined the club last week and have been flying the past two weekends. I've met a lot of the members so far and they have been great, very helpful. Dave and Iain have kept me right with my Raptor (much appreciated). I've tried flying before with little success, so decided to do it properly this time and join a club. The advice and tips i've picked up already has made it well worth doing (should have done it years ago). Looking forward to getting a lot of flying in and meeting everyone else.

Neurosis26 viewsSo named because its predecessor was a disappointment, this was one of my best F2B stunters but sadly was destroyed when flying in strong winds the pull on the lines was enough to starighten out the end of one of the leadouts, despite it being a three turn coil of 18 swg piano wire.Sep 26, 2010

Warrior30 viewsA Veco kit from the 50's, I built this one in the 80s. Enya 19 up front and at 22 ounces went very well. Unfortunately, there was fuel seepage somewhere because after a year or so of declining performance, I weighed it - 30 ounces!Sep 26, 2010

Slowcoach29 viewsNot one of my better efforts. Intended as a low loaded fun flyer, it came out about a pound heavier than I expected (insufficient attention to wood selection, probably) with resultant diminished agility.Sep 23, 2010
